Mainly remote working, near Haydock, occasional training etc. in office required.
Full time permanent - Monday to Friday 35 hours per week, 9am to 5 pm with flexible working hours
Salary GBP25,000 to GBP28,750, plus good benefits including, free parking, health plan, development etc.
Are you Registered Nurse or have you been a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a minimum of 3 years' experience who is now looking for an interesting new career to utilise your medical experience, great opportunity to retrain within the medical legal sector as a Medical Paralegal?
We are currently recruiting for someone to join the clinical medical team of an established and busy legal firm. You will be dealing with medical records for clients who specialise in Clinical Negligence, serious injury cases and Personal Injury claims. Reviewing and organising medical records for ease of use and navigation, to include indexing and pagination along with the creation of chronologies. You will need good knowledge of medical terminology, IT proficient and knowledge of hospital and nursing documentation.
Excellent training will be provided for this medical paralegal role. If you are looking at a change of career into an administration office role this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy progressive legal firm in their clinical/medical negligence department, deciphering doctors, clinical and medical notes and reports. Working within the clinical negligence department making sure notes and reports are accurately deciphered.
Paginating Medical ReportsAssessing history and create summariesPreparing chronologiesSeparating the different medical departments e.g. - clinical records, in patients/outpatients, Theatre, A&E, AmbulanceTraining new staff as and when requiredAny other task that may be required from time to time You will need, to be a Registered Nurse with strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, a methodical approach. IT skills - knowledge of Word & Foxit would be an advantage. Impeccable attention to detail, client care and a positive, can-do attitude. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work. The ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team. You will need to be a good team player, happy to enter discussions and provide advice to colleagues.
