RF Engineer

Based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Offering between 40ph - 80ph Inside IR35 based on experience

As the RF Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to obtain UK SC clearance in this role.

Your Skillset may include some of the following:

Knowledge of RF Systems, ideally in comms or radar systemsStrong technical understanding of RF/ Microwave and electronic systems, algorithm design and implementationSystem design engineering skills including requirements elicitation, decomposition and management; system design, integration and test; system verification and validationProficient in one or more of the following systems design toolsets (e.g. SysML, DOORS and/or Rhapsody).Knowledge and understanding of Integrated Air Defence SystemsSystem level RF modelling, with the use of tools such as MATLAB and SimulinkAntenna design or Electromagnetic modellingExperience in supplier management (typically undertaken with the support of a Procurement Lead)Work package and project management, with the ability to manage schedule, cost, quality and performance metrics
