Our client, a well-established and reputable solicitors' firm specialising in a wide range of legal services, is currently seeking a qualified Conveyancer to join their team and handle a diverse portfolio of residential conveyancing matters. As a client-focused firm, they require an individual who is not only competent in their legal practice but also possesses strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Managing a mixed portfolio of residential conveyancing files, from inception to completion. Conducting due diligence and title searches. Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents. Advising clients on the conveyancing process and legal implications. Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other parties involved in transactions. Conducting property searches and managing land registry applications. Handling all aspects of client communication and maintaining excellent client relationships. Requirements

Qualified as a licensed Conveyancer, ILEX, CILEX, or CLC-qualified. Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential. Ability to handle a wide range of conveyancing matters, including purchases, sales, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, auction purchases, leasehold, freehold and shared ownership transactions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work to meet deadlines. Excellent organisational skills and the capability to manage a diverse caseload. Team player with the flexibility to work within a collaborative environment. Proficient in legal practice, with a deep understanding of property law. Good computer skills, including familiarity with relevant software and case management systems. Polite, discreet and able to maintain client confidentiality. Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues. Strong telephone skills to handle client inquiries and updates.
