Hays Recruitment is working with a large oversubscribed school near Ellesmere Port, who are looking for an R.E. Teacher to join their team from January 2024 on a contract basis until the end of the academic year with a view to a permanent R.E. Job in the new academic year. The school has a good reputation, fantastic facilities and a supportive and friendly environment.

Your new role

In this Religious Studies job you will be required to teach from KS3 to KS5, following the national curriculum and preparing them for GCSE and A-Level exams. Depending on the teacher's availability and other commitments, the role can be made to suit a flexible part-time timetable for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed

QTS or equivalent qualificationExperience of teaching R.E. / Religious Studies to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience preferred)Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skillsA passion for their chosen subject and a commitment to student achievementA valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
