An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well–qualified and highly effective humanities specialist to play a key role in helping the school to continue to engage pupils throughout KS3 and year 10.
This is a flourishing, high performing school, which was graded Outstanding in their last inspection. It is one of the leading schools in the country in terms of student progress.
Humanities is an exciting subject at this school. The department uses a range of active teaching strategies to allow the students to develop an appreciation of a complex and dynamically changing world. There is a strong focus on cultural diversity throughout the study of these different geographical areas and themes.
In years 7, 8 and 9 all lessons are taught in accordance with National Curriculum guidelines to develop the knowledge and skills students need to be successful at GCSE. The client has a proven track record of school improvement, offering students an exciting curriculum and opportunities to perform, showcase their talents and experience the world of work outside of the classroom.
