ABOUT THE COURSE

My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the German language without the time-consuming diversions through the insanities of school methods that do not produce results.

Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more it is important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced learner, with my innovative teaching you will accelerate your learning in a way you have never done before.

I offer you individual or group German courses (2 to 5 people, rate reduced depending on the number). The course is based on cognitive science and especially psycholinguistics. My modular programme can be adapted to each individual case. Your autonomy in spontaneous real-life conversations is the focus of these modules.

What will not be done in the course:

learning lists of verbs;

learning lists of nouns with an article;

learning words with their translations;

flash cards;

doing school exercises;

following a workbook programme;

imposing English grammar on the German language.

What is particularly important to me:

motivating my student and giving him a learning rhythm;

encouraging his creativity;

letting him be friends with the German language;

teaching construction plans instead of learning sentences by rote;

explaining how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible;

putting practice at the centre and injecting grammar only where necessary.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

I am currently writing a book on foreign language acquisition. I have 8 years of experience in teaching German and an average rating of 5/5. German is my mother tongue, with no particular dialect. I am fluent in French as if it were a mother tongue. I am fluent in English and Portuguese and I have an intermediate level of Latin and some basic knowlegde of Greek. My current personal language goal is to become fluent in Latin.
