THE ROLE:
Looking for a fresh challenge with exposure to interesting and engaging work? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a supportive and progressive regulatory body for an ongoing locum assignment of circa 12 months. As a Regulatory Paralegal, you will be exclusively responsible for delivering high quality customer service and risk-based case management. If successful, you will handle your own caseload of investigations as a member of the organisation's investigation team. You will be interviewing witnesses, drafting witness statements, analysing evidence and recommending next steps. The organisation offer hybrid working arrangements, with 2 day a week working from the office and the rest of the days worked remotely. This will require the successful candidate to be confident and have great attention to detail to ensure your day-to-day tasks are fulfilled. This role is a hands-on and highly visible position with an opportunity to make a genuine difference.
THE CANDIDATE:
This role is best suited to an experienced Paralegal with at least 12 months of experience of handling their own caseload of matters. Ideally, you should have knowledge of professional regulators and regulatory processes, however experience gained in related legal areas such as criminal law or civil litigation would also be considered. The appointed candidate should be able to demonstrate strong investigative skills and be accustomed to managing a high workload. You should be a team player and have excellent organisational skills. You must be available for this assignment to commence as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, your enviable skills will allow you to quickly become a key member of this team.
