Staff Nurse - Brain Injury

I'm looking for qualified Registered Adult Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurses, ( RMN's, RGN's or RNLD's ) for positions available in a specialist neurological care centre based in Aberdeen. There are both Part time and Full time roles available and can be flexible to fit in with your needs. The salary on offer is up to GBP49,000 per annum

Job Title: Staff Nurse Service Type: Brain Injury/ Learning Disability RehabilitationLocation: Aberdeen, AberdeenshireSalary: up to GBP49,000 per annum Hours: 3 x 12 hour shifts per week - flexible rotaContract Type: Permanent You will be caring for people aged 18 and over with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Head/Brain Injury, Huntington's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson's Disease and Stroke, a maximum of 22 Service Users will be in residence at a time

About the role:

-This post will report directly to the Senior Nurse/Team Leader

-In the absence of a Senior Nurse/Team Leader, the post holder will take charge of the shift, planning and allocating responsibilities as appropriate

-The staff nurse will work collaboratively with the nursing team and the wider multi-disciplinary team in order to provide an integrated, proactive and high quality service

About you:

-Registered Nurse

-Willingness to undertake post registration training.

-An ability to demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development

-Awareness of current legislation within independent care sector

-Willingness to complete NMC recognised mentorship training

- To be an NMC registered nurse

- Ideally have post-registration experience in specialist neurological or residential care with an appropriate diploma level qualification.

8.00 pm to 6.00am (nights) 30%

Friday midnight to Sunday midnight (weekends) 30%

Public Holidays 24 hours midnight to midnight 60%

Membership of PVG scheme is a requirement.
