Location: Lewisham, South East London
Salary: up to GBP36,660 per annum - negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 12 hours, 24 hours, 36 hours, 42 hours or 48 hours per week)
Shifts: Mixed shifts or Nights available - you can choose depending on your preference

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified staff or experienced nurse to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive specialist 34 bedded Neurological Centre for adults with a range of neurological conditions including Anoxic Brain Injury, Brain Tumour, Complex Stroke, Inflammatory and infective conditions, for example, viral and auto-immune encephalitis, Subarachnoid Haemorrhage, Traumatic Brain Injury, for example, following a road traffic accident or assault and Brain injury as a result of COVID-19s in the Lewisham area. The service is split over 2 Units.
You will be working in a service that are specialists in the treatment of patients with physical and cognitive impairments and/or neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury or other neurological condition.
The culture of the Service is very team orientated and the Managers have an open-door policy and are very approachable and respectful; everyone's contribution is valued.
You will be working for an established, stable and agile specialist mental health, neuro-rehabilitation and complex care providers with with over 30 years' practical experience and knowledge as an independent provider, dealing with some of the most complex cases nationally, they understand mental health and complex care in a way few others do.
They are a trusted partner to the NHS, commissioning services and local authorities and specialise in caring for adults, young people and children with the most complex needs
Preceptorship Programme:
The Service has a strong commitment to provide support for newly qualified nurses. This is via a purpose built, structured and comprehensive preceptorship programme. The programme is completed over a 6 month period where you will be a fully supernumerary nurse. This allows you to fully immerse yourself into learning aspects of your new role, whilst having a nurse mentor to work alongside.

A qualified Registered Nurse ( RGN, RMN or RNLD) ? The Hospital welcomes applications from Registered Adult Nurses, Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses. Full training and support will be given by your own designated mentor.
