Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) - Are you a Newly Qualified or experienced or Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) ?Have you ever considered a role in psychiatric intensive care or Acute Services? The service is a 41 bed mixed gender service for working age adults in mental health crisis. With 4 single gendered wards including a specialist step down unit

Location: Roehampton, South West London

Salary: GBP38922 - GBP42666 per annum ( GBP19.96 - GBP21.88 p/h )

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours). The hospital can also consider fixed shifts.

Shifts: The Hospital can be flexible on shift patterns - please call me to discuss your requirements

Assessing and delivering effective individual care and treatment towards the service usersWorking according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients.Providing a high quality individualised standard of care to a defined group of patients, relatives and carers. Ensuring the effective supervision and development of staff . Working and acting as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes. Acting as the primary nurse in the assessment of needs and organising of care.Taking charge of a designated clinical area. Adopting a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.People Management Ensuring the provision of appropriate supervision and support to members of the ward teamManaging allocated resources effectively through efficient resource allocation, skill mixes, roster management, and utilisation of equipment and authorisation of bank/agency staff. Participating in clinical audit, clinical risk and quality issues, including the management and reporting of incidentsActing as a team leader for a group of nurses, acting as a mentor/preceptorDeputising for the manager as and when requiredCommunication and Relationship Skills Providing a high level of Communication with internal and external stakeholdersParticipating in discussions and debates and staff meetings offering views, ideas and opinions. Participating in the process of positively supporting and inspiring colleagues within the service to improve standards and quality and to develop professional practice.Communicating all relevant issues pertaining to care. Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Hospital offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. Nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the Hospital. Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. All nurses will receive ongoing support from your Manager.
