Mental Health Nurse

Our well-established client located in Stockton on the Forest, are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join their friendly team on a Full Time - Permanent basis with a salary of 39,030 Depending upon experience.

Job Overview

This position is located in Stockton on the Forest, 112 bedded Forensic medium secure psychiatric hospital, which cares for both mental illness and learning disability patients, which includes an Autistic Spectrum Disorder service and a female service.

Main Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Nurse you will be dedicated to Assessing and monitoring the needs of patients. Collaboratively planning the care needs of the patient, to develop positive behavioural support plans with patients. You are to be an active part of the multi-disciplinary team, required to administer medications.

Skills Required

Registered Mental Health Nurse MUST meet the following criteria:

Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN

To be a team player

To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required

Good listening and rapport building ability

To be able to organize and prioritise your time
