I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager to work at a great children s home in Birmingham. The home provides care and support for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Duties for this role will include:

Ensuring that care is delivered against the Children s Regulations and Quality Standards to meet all of Ofsted s requirements Responsibility for the direct management of the children/young people Management of the staff team that support children/young people to ensure that the highest standards of care is in place Meeting and promoting the needs of the children/young people Taking a lead in the recruitment, maintenance and development of the staffing team For this role you must have:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent) At least 3 years experience of supervising and managing staff in a residential child care role (as a Registered Manager) Extensive experience of working with children/young people with learning disabilities and complex needs A working knowledge of Children s Regulations, Quality Standards and ECM A full UK driving licence and car for work use For more information on this role, which is a great opportunity with fantastic prospects, please call Elite on (phone number removed).
