Help Provide Management to 2 Children's EBD Homes
A Provider of Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to provide management of its 2 Children's EBD homes based in the Southend region
Highlights:
Both homes are fully staffed, each with a Deputy Manager and full compliment of Specialist Support Workers so you wont have to worry about recruiting additional staff The homes have achieved a Good Ofsted inspection and running effectively with strong links to the Local Authorities in the area and are close to full occupation Both homes are 3 bed and cater to 8 - 17 year olds with emotional and behavioural difficultiesThe reason for the post becoming available is that the previous manager has been promoted to a Service Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an organisation that is growing and performing well with its previous Registered Manager having been promoted into a Service Manager post, which has created this post. The role will see you manage 2 fully staffed homes for children/young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and where the homes are fully staffed you wont have to worry about staffing issues and recruitment and can focus on the performance of the homes.
The team is well established and each home has a Deputy Manager in post who are very familiar with the operations of the service which should help you settle into the role. Furthermore as the homes are performing well there are opportunities to work from home
To be considered for this post you should have experience as a Registered Manager as well as have an NVQ 5
