Oxfordshire County Council are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager to join our team on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP55,783 – GBP59,010 per annum.
Location: Solo Children's Homes, Located in Chinnor, Nr Thame and in Sutton, Nr Witney, Oxfordshire
Hours: 37 hours per week – Sleep in (if required in extreme circumstances). Participation in the Managers On Call rota.
About the Registered Manager role:
The successful applicant will be the Registered Manager for our 2 new solo children's homes. These provisions are small children's homes imbedded in quiet local communities to provide a safe and nurturing home environment with intensive support packages for up to 2 young people in each home aged 12 – 17 who require short term care.
What we are looking for in our ideal Registered Manager:
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Manager to lead and develop these new solo children's home as they open their doors to our children.
You will have experience working in a residential care setting at a managerial level including knowledge of managing residential children's homes. Be Qualified to Diploma level 5 – Leadership and Management in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) and/ or a Professional Social Work qualification.
