As our Registered Manager you will ensure the effective management of the Trust s service operations and ensure delivery of high-quality day-to-day care to our clients.
You will be required to report to the Head of Services and liaise with other members of staff including our other Registered Managers, the Human Resources and Finance departments and the Senior Management Team.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring all of Avocet Trust s policies and procedures are adhered to in order to fulfil the Service s aims and objectives Managing and supervising a staff team in the delivery of care and support to clients Working to meet and maintain CQC standards and requirements Making sure all mandatory and other training requirements of the staff team are fulfilled Ensuring individual client care programmes are planned and implemented individually by liaising with other agencies including Social Services and Health Preparing and organising staff rotas to ensure the service is sufficiently staffed at all times Ensuring all clients have complete access to activities provided for their benefit as identified in their respective personal development plan Preparing reports on the general performance of the service, including client progress, budgetary control, staff sickness and absence and vacancies You must have:
A minimum of two years experience and an NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care An awareness of the needs of vulnerable people including personal care, medication application and communication An understanding of recent and the relevant legislation. Competent computer literacy skills.
