Registered Service Manager - Supported Living -
We re looking for a Registered Manager to join a small but growing company who are delivering quality-focused supported living and outreach support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live as independently as possible. There s an attractive salary of GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 with a bonus scheme in place too.
Currently they are supporting 9 individuals in total, with lots of scope to grow over the next few years, so this is a great opportunity for somebody who enjoys accomplishing growth.
As the Registered Manager you ll be responsible for the day to day management of the existing care packages, managing the support workers and ensuring that services are delivered in line with CQC requirements, maintaining or improving their current Good rating. You ll also work with the directors to identify areas for growth, establishing good relationships with commissioners, managing referrals and implementing new supported living services or domiciliary care packages.

The Registered Manager Role
You ll ensure that service users are supported in a clear, planned structured and effective way and that review systems are in place. You ll provide clear leadership and management to the support staff, recognising people's strengths and identifying and meeting training needs. Recruitment and induction of considerate, caring and capable support workers, and in time, office staff Assess new referrals and create care plans, manging their transition to the service. Care Plan Reviews, Risk Assessments and all other care documentation Ensure that CQC KLOE s are being met Work with Services users and other stakeholders to build effective outcome-based support plans that promote the choice , rights, control and independence of the person. Carry out quality audits within the supported living and outreach services
The Successful Candidate
Ideally you ve been a Registered Manager with CQC previously, but this would also suit an experienced Service Manager / Deputy Manager who is ready to progress. You ll have managed services for people with learning disabilities, either supported living, residential care or domiciliary/outreach support. We re looking for somebody who's passionate about working with individuals with learning disabilities, helping them to set and achieve outcomes that will make a difference to their lives. And you ll be able to be an active participant in the growth of services, good at communicating with people, establishing care packages and and helping manage peoples transition into services. Ideally, you ll be qualified to NVQ4 / QCF 5 or working towards already, but we would consider QCF level 3 if you are willing to undertake the management qualification.
