PwC is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join the Regions marketing team. The Regions marketing team is responsible for the marketing strategy and activation of campaigns and programmes across our Regions.
We're looking for an experienced, strategic and commercial marketer to lead marketing activity in our West & Wales Region.
The senior marketing manager has an opportunity to drive the marketing strategy and plans, working on a variety of projects ranging from multichannel integrated campaigns and thought leadership to high profile client events.
The successful candidate must be highly commercial, confident with strategy development and able to translate business requirements into marketing strategy, plans and activity. Excellent relationship management skills are a must, as is a robust understanding of how to tailor content for sector marketing and how to design activity that will pull through to generate leads, client conversations and revenue opportunities. The successful individual should have excellent influencing and communication skills in order to be credible and make an impact on senior regions stakeholders. Experience in Regions marketing is preferred.
The jobholder will report into the Head of Regions Marketing and Head of Sales for the region and will work closely with other marketing and sales leads across Regions. In addition, they will have close collaboration with marketing teams operating in our Lines of Service, Industries, Client Relationship Programmes and our marketing capability teams: Digital Marketing, Campaign Management, Content and Thought Leadership and Brand and sponsorships.
Responsibilities include:
Working with the Head of Regions Marketing to develop and implement an regions marketing strategy and plan, which also aligns to the growth priorities of the firm.
Working with the local Regions Leader and local Regions Head of Sales to understand commercial objectives and tailor marketing strategy to deliver outcomes.
Responsible for overseeing the value and impact of campaigns and activities - capturing, analysing and developing recommendations based on multiple data sets.
Proactively seek new channels to market and innovate to engage with our audience in different ways.
Working closely with the sales and account teams to ensure we are targeting the right people at the right accounts and that all marketing activity is aligned to potential commercial outcomes
Working with teams to develop timely, relevant and engaging content for key audiences.
Bringing curiosity and challenge and capturing best practice so that experience, information and knowledge are shared across the wider marketing teams.
Working closely with the other teams in sales and marketing to access additional expertise and knowledge
Being a role model for sharing and collaboration, creating a positive team spirit across the regions marketing community
Stakeholder management with relevant partners, and related business areas
Requirements:
Experience in regions marketing and knowledge of the region is preferred, but not essential.
A commercial approach, bringing an understanding of how marketing activity translates to business outcomes.
Experienced in marketing planning, strategy, programmes and campaigns, ideally with a professional marketing qualification.
Excellent communication, writing and facilitation skills are essential as is the ability to liaise, influence, challenge effectively and build relationships at senior management, peer and team level.
Proven track record in content development and a sound understanding of multi-channel marketing techniques (ideally within professional services or related sectors).
The ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong analytical ability, with experience of capturing, analysing and developing recommendations based upon complex ROI data sets.
The ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives, and to manage multiple projects.
Creative and innovative approach.
Ability to generate credibility and respect at senior levels.
Proactive with a positive 'can do' approach.
