If so, this is the job for you!The HSE Network has exclusively partnered with a UK leading food–manufacturing and distribution company who are seeking a Regional Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to look after 8 small sites across the South of England. The ideal candidate will live near the Hatfield area and be happy to travel as and when required.The Regional HSE Manager will provide sound HSE knowledge across the sites, ensuring they are compliant and adhering to Health and Safety business standards. You will support the implementation of the management system, and develop and deliver the company's health, safety, and environment strategy plan to improve performance across the sites.The Main Responsibilities: To provide managerial direction, be visible on–site and hands–on when needed.Educate and train the workforce and develop and encourage the right safety behaviours.Seeking a creative individual who can enhance the foundation of HSE which is already in place then guide the company through a cultural change journey focusing on education and empowering them to take accountability.To ensure all 8 depots are compliant and adhering to good HSE practices aligned with the wider group.Work with other sites in the group to ensure best practice.To coach and mentor, 1 direct report based in Tamworth – who specialises in risk assessments, systems and reports.Managing incident claims for the sitesTake the lead on internal audits and offer external support for audit group–wide. The Person Spec: Strong communicator, able to convert the technical to usable and understandable language.Hands–on professional who is proactive, confident, and engaging.Someone who can lead and role model who can bring people on a cultural journey.Coach/ mentor and people–focused practitioner. Essential Skills: Other fast–paced high–volume logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse experienceNEBOSH Certificate as a minimumStrong digital skills, office / Microsoft 365Ideally already a manager but you are open to seeing a strong advisor who has led a site or with site management experience.
