Then, join a hardworking and dynamic team as a Recovery Claims Handler – Motor, dedicated to maximizing recoveries for their Insurer Clients in cases where liability rests with a third party.Your role will be pivotal in maintaining efficient portfolio management, ensuring effective work and top–notch customer service delivery.Location: TonbridgeSalary: Up to GBP24,000Hours: Full time – Monday – FridayResponsibilities: Pursue recovery of Insurer Clients' expenses where third–party liability exists. Guide claims staff to safeguard recovery prospects. Initiate work on high–value losses early, emphasising legal recoverability. Review and prepare cases for solicitors' support, managing in–house cases when suitable. Manage ongoing debt cases pursued by solicitors within authority or advise the Team Leader. Recommend discontinuation of recovery in low–success scenarios. Record complaints accurately and promptly in the system. Maintain audit success rates of 95% or higher. Deliver exceptional customer service. Manage workload and meet KPIs with effective communication. Strategically plan and execute initiatives within agreed timelines. Maintain technical expertise through continuous learning.Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adaptability in communication approaches. Tact and assertiveness in handling distressed customers. Self–motivation and ability to motivate peers. Capacity to take on increased responsibility. Teamwork capability with proactive individual work ethic.Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in Customer Service. Minimum 2 years' experience in motor claims.
