Anderson Knight is looking for a Recoveries Analyst on a full-time permanent basis for one of our clients based in Glasgow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute collections tasks for both incoming and outgoing interactions, utilizing telephone and email channels to communicate with customers who have defaulted, in alignment with the default collection strategy. Provide guidance and engage in negotiations with customers to establish suitable, affordable, and sustainable repayment plans, aiming for the most favourable customer outcome. Conduct accurate income and expenditure assessments as needed, making decisions to ensure customer affordability in all proposed repayment solutions. Implement thorough account management practices for each agreement, including the timely update of customer details and documentation of communication content. Identify potential customer vulnerability and adapt the collection approach to achieve positive outcomes, ensuring the provision of appropriate breathing space. Collaborate closely with Vehicle Management analysts to prioritize vehicle recovery for defaulted debts over other collection and potential litigation activities. Optimise insurance recoveries, including Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP), in cases where the vehicle is declared a total loss. Demonstrate a strong telephone manner and effective communication skills, building rapport while negotiating positive resolutions. Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as auction houses, recovery agents, solicitors, insurance firms, privately owned garages, and local law enforcement agencies. Adhere to all compliance procedures regarding collections activities. Provide support to other areas within the collections and recoveries function to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
