Research and Development Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research and Development Technician at a leading coatings manufacturer based in South Yorkshire. As a Research and Development Technician you will be responsible for developing formulations for coating and lubricant industries. You will also be responsible for testing raw materials and products using a wide range of analytical techniques.

To be considered for this Research and Development Technician position you will be degree qualified in Chemistry or a related field. You will also have several years' experience of working in formulation and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop formulations for lubricant and coating industries.Test raw materials and products using analytical techniques including TGA, SEM, XRD, DSC, etc.Work closely with several departments within the company to oversee manufacturing and resolve any issues.Maintain records and carry out COSHH assessments.Adhere to protocols and laboratory practices, including SOPs. Knowledge and Experience:
