I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a permanent basis for a public sector body in the Northamptonshire area.
Working with the Assets team, you will be responsible for providing the procurement and financial management of construction and building related projects. This role is hybrid.
Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor:
To produce tender documents using different forms and types of contract, including forms of contract to facilitate Partnership Working, for all Capital and Revenue construction and building related projects, and different methodologies such as the use of framework agreementsTo assist with the implementation of the Local Authorities Capital and Revenue building works programs in an efficient and effective mannerTo provide a cost monitoring and forecasting service in respect of all building related projects undertaken by the SectionTo carry out monthly financial valuations of contractor/partner activity; ensuring compliance with contract conditions and financial regulations at all times
What the Quantity Surveyor needs:
Minimum BSc in Quantity SurveyingExperience of working on a range of procurement methods and contract forms.Building, construction and procurement practice, including EU Procurement Directives.
