My client is looking to speak to experienced QS to take on a full-time 3 6-month temporary role (potentially longer). Client side work.

Your New Organisation
You will have a fantastic opportunity to work for a housing association in the East midlands for a 3 6-month initial temporary period.
You will have the opportunity to work with a leading provider of social housing and help enable customer satisfaction in relation to repairs projects and capital work programs.
Your new organisation needs a customer friendly individual to provide a comprehensive quantity surveying service.
Your New Opportunity
You will be responsible for preparing commercial documents for procurement purposes and managing projects effectively, using various forms of contract and frameworks.
You will provide and administer tender answers in relation to the commercial elements and work with the client-side team by administering the tender process.
You will be responsible for providing monitoring of cost, assisting with procurement for the works and provide accurate costings.
You will monitor project cashflow and provide monthly quarterly and yearly reports.
You will be a key point of contact for internal departments in relation to project progress and the commercial element.
You will constantly evaluate performance and compliance with projects.
You will be based in the East midlands and will require a car/driving licence to qualify for this role.
You will work closely with contract side and negotiate and resolve disputes. You will attend the project sites across the area as and when required.

You will be an experienced QS with client side/local authority/housing association project experience role this role will only suit someone with some prior knowledge/experience in this type of role (essential)
In this role you will need:
Previous client-side QS experience good knowledge of quantity surveying practices and procedures. Knowledge of procurement and construction legislation. Experience working with Contractors Experience in JCT and NEC and other contract forms experience of Scape and other frameworks Be financially astute and able to cost and report effectively.
