Job Title: Quality Manager - Food Industry

Company Overview: Our client, a leading player in the food industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join their team. As the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with retailer policies, implementing HACCP, and maintaining an up-to-date Quality Management System (QMS). Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Leadership:

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the delivery of top-quality products.

Oversee day-to-day QA activities and provide guidance to team members.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure products are manufactured in compliance with safety, legality, and quality standards.

Guarantee adherence to all retailer policies and requirements.

HACCP Implementation:

Drive the implementation and maintenance of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) processes.

Quality Management System (QMS):

Keep the QMS up to date, ensuring it reflects the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Performance Monitoring:

Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the QA team.

Implement strategies to meet and exceed performance targets.

Team Development:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.

Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Quality Manager role within the food industry.

Strong understanding of safety, legality, and quality standards in food manufacturing.

Proven experience implementing and maintaining HACCP processes.

Familiarity with chilled products is advantageous but not essential.

Demonstrated leadership and management experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary - 45,000- 50,000 (Dependent on previous experience)
