An established manufacturer of bespoke parts, components and assemblies for various industry sectors including automotive, defence and medical are seeking to recruit a Quality Manager. The company are enjoying strong growth and sales and as a result are seeking to strengthen their operations.

Reporting to the General Manager - the main purpose of the role is the management of the Quality Department and the company systems (Quality, Health and Safety and Environment).

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

The management of the quality department Day to day support of departmental activities and those of the management team Develop trust and good working relationships with key clients and suppliers Manage customer and supplier issues Management of company systems Management review - co-ordination and reporting Assist with NPI projects Root cause analysis (ownership of investigations from start to closure, implementation of containment, working with cross functional teams to ensure robust corrective actions, providing feedback to manufacturing teams, control plan and PFMEA maintenance) Co-ordination of internal audits (system, product and process) Effective resolution of non-conformance issues with supplied materials and components Supplier improvement activities with respect to persistent problems Technical support for clients Effective analysis of data (trend, root cause and corrective action and compilation and recording of KPI's)

I would be keen to receive your application if you are a quality manager or quality engineer who holds the following skills and expertise;

Previous experience of working as a quality manager or a senior quality engineer in a manufacturing environment Proven experience of ISO & IATF management systems Experience of creating and management of PPAP packages Internal auditing experience and qualified to IATF 16949 (2016) internal auditing Practical problem solving using 8D (or similar tools) Understanding and application of capability, SPC & MSA Excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) High attention to detail, good problem solver and strong communication skills

The role is Days - 5 days a week (Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1pm)

The company are based in Redditch so are easily commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich, Dudley, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Stratford upon Avon, Studley, Henley in Arden.
