Description

Our client are looking for a Quality Manager to join the business and lead the quality department in the delivery of their ongoing pursuit of excellence.

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for taking ownership of the company quality processes. The Quality Manager will be required to engage at all levels mapping existing processes and identifying areas to improve, whilst also managing the day to day departmental operations

As Quality Manager within this organisation, you will join a world class ethos and be given the support to drive processes forward.

The Quality Manager will play a key role in fostering and developing the overall culture and attitude to quality whilst supporting Production in delivering targets for cost, quality and volumes.

The Quality Manager role will involve:

Development & management of the company Quality Management System Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes Leading Site Audits Developing SOP s Conducting root cause work and implementing corrective actions Support NPI activities Work with suppliers to resolve any identified issues and track performance. Work closely with production engineering to deliver improvements to site processes with quality in mind. Monitor and report on overall site performance from a quality perspective Developing a positive culture around quality This position is well suited to someone who:

Has previous experience working within manufacturing as a Quality Manager Proven management of ISO 9001, ideally including, 50001, 45001 NPI / Production / Assembly in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage Has been exposed to lean tools and is passionate about developing processes as part of their daily activity. Capable manager with demonstrable experience working collaboratively across functions. Demonstrable experience of lean tools / problem solving skills Communicates well and wants to engage at all levels in a business.
