Their "in-house" design and technical department is adept at handling the development, prototyping, and manufacturing requirements for systems and assemblies in diverse industries, including commercial, medical, military, and aerospace.
Job Profile:
In order to support the growing business, our client is looking to recruit an Inspection Team Leader. The suitable applicant will be an experienced Inspector and team leader who ideally has been in a challenging manufacturing environment for precision components. The position would be part of a team that is responsible for performing all inspection duties, calibration and all relevant documentation associated with quality control and inspection.
Duties:
Provide leadership to the inspection personnel within the departmentWork closely with the Quality Manager and other department headsCommunicating goals and deadlines to inspection team membersPlanning workloads and delegating tasksAssessing team performance and providing feedback to employeesAssisting with hiring and training employeesAssisting with the daily operation of the organisationAssisting the department with inspection activities as and when required

Skills & Attributes:
Experience of inspecting precision machined parts (ideally)Use of general inspection equipmentUnderstanding of geometric tolerancesAbility to read technical drawingsPatrol inspectionFirst off and final inspectionCompile and review First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 (training can be provided)A good working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeTeam Leadership
