White Label are excited to be working with a market leading designer and manufacturer in their search for a Quality Engineer.
As a global leader, this is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to contribute to their continued success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management and a good understanding of health, safety, and environmental. This role will have a strong Quality focus and will initially involve HSE responsibilities, allowing the right candidate to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
Manage and develop day-to-day Quality system, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, BS EN 3834, BS EN 1090 and ASME standards.
Drive the evolution of best working practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Champion root cause analysis and implement preventative actions to continuously improve processes.
Oversee internal and external audit and inspection programs, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
Conduct accident and incident investigations, analyse findings, and deliver actionable results.
Requirements of the Quality Engineer:
Previous experience in a Quality role within a hightly regulated manufacturing environment. (Oil and Gas / Nuclear ideally)
Working knowledge of ISO9001 standards.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
An understanding of HSE processes and their application in an industrial setting.
Self-motivated and a team player, with the drive to initiate and manage change.
Desirable Experience of the Quality Engineer:
Background in welding and fabrication is desirable
Auditing qualifications would be advantageous.
