Quality Controller

Swale must be a driver with own transport due to location

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, rotating shift patterns (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

GBP23,300 + overtime + progression (opportunity to increase earnings)

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in the Swale area who are currently seeking a Quality Controller to join their busy food production team within a factory based environment. Shifts tend to be 06.00-14.00 but there must be some flexibility dependent on demand you may finish earlier/later at times.

Duties to include:

Working in a busy and targeted food production environment working in a variety of temperatures season dependent Checking the quality of the product, recording quality on relevant documentation Printing labels Reading Production Plan and following the quantities specified for the customer accurately Following Health and Safety regulations Any other duties required The successful candidate will have / be:

Solid experience in a relevant role within a factory/production environment, ideally within food production although other similar environments will be considered A food hygiene certificate this isn t essential but would be beneficial Excellent communication skills with the ability to read Production Plans Competence with IT with the ability to input data into spreadsheets Happy to work in a physically demanding role in varying temperatures Driven with a desire to progress long term progression available for the right person This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company which celebrates the success of their employees and where hard work is rewarded.
