Responsive Engineering Ltd is growing; we are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our highly talented and skilled team and to be part of our exciting growth journey. Working as part of the inspection team you will be trusted partner responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products in the fabrication and welding area fully conform to customer requirements, whilst maintaining the company's focus on safety, quality, cost and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Inspection of fabricated & welded components - Dimensionally, Visual & NDT to ensure the correct qualityCalibration and validate monitoring and measuring equipment prior to useLiaise with engineering team to clarify inspection and testing requirementsLiaise with goods inward for the inspection of raw materials, components and associated certificationSupport the production team with in-process inspection and testing of components for manufactureMaintain product traceability and compliance to required standardsQuarantine and identify non-conforming parts to ensure all product non-conformances are accurately reportedSupport problem-solving activities and investigations where product or process non-conformance has been identifiedContribute to quality led improvement initiatives and support quality performance Experience, Skills:
Relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environmentProficient in reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsCompetent with manual inspection processes using equipment such as tapes, rules, and squaresAbility to write clear and concise inspection reports and work with both metric and imperial unitsCSWIP 3.0 certified (CSWIP 3.1 desirable)PCN Level 2 MPIPCN Level 2 Dye Pen Disposition (Required critical behaviours):
