ISQ Recruitment in partnership with an innovative food company based on the outskirts of Norwich, are seeking for a Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager. This is a key role in upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and develop the site's food safety, quality, and regulatory systems. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain compliance. Manage day-to-day quality issues, customer complaints, and quality incidents with root cause analysis. Participate in the development and maintenance of crisis plans for product recall. Assume responsibility for calibration of measurement devices used by the quality and production teams. Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in a Science/Food Science discipline with a strong technical understanding of food products, packaging, and processes. Previous experience in QA Management and Compliance within food manufacturing. Extensive knowledge of food safety legislation, good manufacturing practice, and HACCP Level 3 certification. Proven track record of team management and internal auditing training. Good understanding of BRC requirements and their management in an operation. Basic understanding of microbiology and its implications for food safety and quality. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
