Your primary focus will be creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every child thrives You ll work in legal ratios in your room, with the support of Nursery Assistants Encouraging learning through experiences in line with our curriculum Support with meals and snacks, going to the toilet/changing nappies, and other generic childcare needs An ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues to deliver the best experience possible Acknowledging the diversity of each child's background, culture, disabilities, and medical history Provide insights and feedback to help us push the boundaries of excellence and reimagine what exceptional early years education really means What we re looking for
For the Qualified Nursery Practitioner role, it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum. To find out what quals count visit the gov uk publication early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england You ll be a team player ensuring that you and your team meet the unique needs of each child, collaborating with the team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards for child learning and development You will likely have some experience in a similar role within a nursery or other childcare setting Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview.
