Holiferm is facilitating the transition of the $36 billion surfactant market away from harmful, fossil fuel-based chemicals to biobased alternatives. We produce sophorolipid and other biosurfactants; renewable, biodegradable, and mild alternatives to the petrochemical-derived surfactants used in household cleaning, laundry, and personal care products.

Role Responsibilities

As a Qa/Qc Technician, you will be responsible for:

Perform all QC testing according to current methods and Keep SOPs for QC testing and Laboratory to date. Recording, analysing, and reporting data and presenting results accurately and in a timely manner along with generating, analysing, and interpreting data gained through various test methods and developing value-adding reports for senior staff. Working closely with R&D, Pilot plant, technical and production staff in planning product development, effectively delivering technical objectives for the project.

Role requirements

The successful candidate will:

Have experience in operating several advanced analytical techniques, ideally using HPLC, as well as titrations and solvent extractions (although these are not essential).

Have the capability and desire to develop test method and continuous improvement.

Ideally, have a relevant science-based degree and have worked at pilot plant or industrial scale.
