QA Test Analyst

Salary: Up to £32k depending on experience
Our client Nevado, is seeking a Test Analyst.
In this full-time role, you will work across a variety of projects in the entertainment, travel, leisure and sports sectors at an award-winning digital consultancy and ventures firm.

The role
Your core duties will involve ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and developed functionality that satisfies user requirements. You'll review the business requirements, identify tests that will drive feature development and help to maintain and run tests. You will work closely with their lead tester, who has designed and implemented their testing methodology.
An important part of the role will be having direct contact with clients and you will have a natural talent for building relationships with them as well as the drive to deliver excellent and well thought-through service and intelligent advice. Test reporting will also be a part of your role and you will always be on the lookout for ways to improve and optimise the websites you work with in terms of functionality, site speed and alignment with business objectives.

QA Testing skills and experience
The successful candidate will ideally have some commercial experience in software and likely have experience in:
Understanding of QA processes and methodologiesContributing to the QA responsibility within the wider teamDeveloping and executing test plans / casesEnsuring software is delivered to the highest standardUser interface and cross-browser testing of complex web applications
Advantageous technical skills and experience
Experience in the following is not essential, but may help your application:
Experience in manual and automated testingUnderstanding of SEO best practiceExperience in managing a websiteExperience of working in ecommerce environments

Nevado is committed to providing a great working environment for their team. They are based in Southfields, south-west London, at a dedicated space inside HomeWork, a co-working environment with its own on-site barista coffee shop, fitness studio, showers, bike rack and friendly service team. Situated one minute from the tube, it is surrounded by amenities including M&S, Gail’s and a host of other restaurants and shops.
Many of their team members work on a hybrid basis, with a combination of days in the office and days working from home. Others work entirely remotely, or from their office in Bath.
