Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive purchasing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Economic Order Quantity: Utilize your detailed knowledge of economic order quantity (EOQ) principles to optimize our ordering process, minimize costs, and reduce excess inventory. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the purchasing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Budget Management: Ensure purchasing activities are conducted within budget, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Quality Control: Collaborate with other departments to maintain high-quality standards in procurement, ensuring product quality and consistency. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulations and industry standards, ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant purchasing and procurement laws. Reporting: Generate reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance, presenting them to senior management. Requirements:

A recognized purchasing qualification is a strong plus. Proven experience in a purchasing management role, with a successful track record of strategic procurement and supplier management. Excellent knowledge of economic order quantity (EOQ) principles and the ability to apply them effectively. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate and build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders at all levels. Commercial background and a strategic mindset to drive cost savings and efficiency. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software.
