My Skelmersdale based, independent, family owned client are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent full time basis. Joining the Purchasing team you will be responsible for purchasing administrative tasks and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods in addition to sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices and managing supplier relationships. The role is offered on a permanent basis (37.5 hours a week) and is offered Monday – Friday 9:00am – 17:00. The main responsibilities include– Maintenance of Product files– Identify and evaluate potential suppliers– Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements– Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers– Monitor supplier performance and address issues as they arrive– Generate and process purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner– Work with other departments in the business to assess and confirm purchasing needs– Maintain accurate and up to date records– Prepare and distribute purchasing reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basisIf you feel you have the right experience for the position please don't hesitate in applying for the role, all suitable candidates will be contacted.
