A growing manufacturing business based in Bradford is currently looking for a Purchase ledger Supervisor to join their team of finance. This role will be replacing a long-serving, experienced professional.
The candidate's responsibilities include:
Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of purchase ledger clerks, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and timely, and that supplier queries are resolved efficiently.
Calculating VAT payments.
Managing petty cash.
Accurate data entry.
Processing staff expenses.
Communicating with externals vendors and suppliers.
Month-end reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a supervisory finance role
