RM Recruit are working with a fantastic organisation based in Leamington Spa, who are seeking to hire a Purchase Ledger Manager on a 6-month ongoing contract with a review for this role to go permanent. This role will see you managing and providing direction and support to the Purchase Ledger Teams. You will also be responsible for a small team where you will effectively delegate daily, weekly and monthly workloads.
Main duties include:
Daily work supervision, guidance, and support of the team e.g. annual leave approvals. Ensure that the Purchase Ledgers are maintained managed and operated correctly and on a timely basis adhering to Standard Accounting Procedures Ensure that the Financial Regulations are understood and being complied with throughout the organisation overall. Check and reconcile supplier statements Deal with supplier / invoice enquiries Perform other duties as may be required from time to time. To work with due regard to confidentiality and the principles of Data Protection whilst encouraging others to do the same. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or equivalent and possess experience working in complex company environments. You will be a confident communicator who can forge relationships with a number of stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate past experience with reconciliations and be able to efficiently work to tight deadlines.
