Robert Half is recruiting for a dynamic company committed to delivering excellence in the logistics industry. As part of a transformation, they are seeking a dedicated and detail–oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to their finance team ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent based near Caerphilly.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining suppler accounts and ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast–paced environment.

The role:

Daily processing of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.Match purchase orders to invoices and reconciling any discrepanciesEnsure all invoices are properly authorised for payment.Prepare and perform weekly payment runs.Reconcile supplier statementsAssist in month–end closing procedures.Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve payment–related issues.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve purchase–related discrepancies.Maintain up–to–date records of all financial transactions. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger ClerkProficient in the use of accounting software (experience with specific software is a plus).Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Familiarity with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
