Do you have a good track record of stakeholder management and building partnerships across the public, private and voluntary sectors?
Is this coupled with demonstrable experience of working in public policy, public affairs, public relations, or political affairs?

This fabulous opportunity is to work for out client; a not for profit organisation located near Aylesbury and High Wycombe, Bucks who are growing hugely. The office is a 30 minute train journey from Marylebone station. This role is full time 35 hours a week and hybrid working (1 day a week in the office).
Salary is up to GBP37,000 plus excellent benefits and a discretionary annual bonus as well.
What does the Public Affairs Advisor role involve?
Public Affairs• Help raise the profile, credibility & influence of the organisation with key individuals & audiences across thepublic, private & voluntary sectors and within government.• Gather political intelligence and engage in regular horizon scanning to identify areas of governmentand public concern that are relevant to the company's policy priorities and to raise with the Head of Policyand Public Affairs.• Monitor and report on government, parliamentary and political party activity related to the keyissues and offer advice to internal colleagues on political issues.• Support dissemination of research reports through public affairs plans.• Help raise the profile, credibility & influence of the organisation with key individuals & audiences across thepublic, private & voluntary sectors and within government.
Networking• Regularly attend events and represent the organisation externally, proactively networking and building constructive political relationships.
• Support delivery of political events in Parliament and elsewhere to bring policy messages directly to policy makers
Policy• Draft high–impact policy products, including consultations, briefings, reports, presentations, blogs and media statements.• Support crafting of policy priorities and positions.
Experience and skills required• Good track record of stakeholder management and building partnerships across the public, private and voluntary sectors.• Demonstrable experience of working in public policy, public affairs, or political work.
• Effective influencing and networking skills with the ability to maintain and extend stakeholder and customer relationships.• Research and analysis skills to deliver policy development.• Outstanding communication skills, both in terms of written and oral work.
