A pub management couple is required to run the Angel and White Horse, Tadcaster. Permanent joint management contract. Salaried live-in position.

The Angel and White Horse is located on the centre of the High Street in the small brewing town of Tadcaster, midway between Leeds and York. It is a well maintained pub with wood panelled walls, stone floors, snugs, open fires and a trade kitchen. It has an outside courtyard overlooking the brewery's Shire horse stables.

We're looking for good people who can provide great hospitality. Running a pub is a way of life and you are the centre of the community. Previous experience is useful but not essential as full training will be provided.

It is a management position, not a tenancy or retail partnership, which means all the wages etc are calculated and paid by the brewery. The brewery also does most of the administration work freeing you up to focus on providing the welcome, hospitality and social atmosphere needed to make the pub successful. The brewery maintains the pub and covers all the business outgoings such as gas, electricity, business rates etc. We have a simple and efficient delivery system. All retail products are supplied from Tadcaster on our own lorry. The food is supplied by our nominated foodservice provider.

It is a live in position. A well appointed managers flat is provided above the pub with all utility bills paid by the brewery (except Council Tax).
