As a Psychology Teacher, your responsibilities include:

Teaching: Delivering effective learning experiences to students on the A-Level Psychology program.Planning and Preparation: Ensuring high-quality teaching within allocated hours.Resource Development: Creating and sharing subject resources, maintaining links across the college.Assessment and Progress Tracking: Regularly assessing students to monitor their progress.Record Keeping: Maintaining comprehensive student records.Exam Administration: Managing exam entries and liaising with external awarding bodies.Student Support: Valuing and supporting students to achieve their potential.Curriculum Development: Engaging in curriculum planning and development.Targets and Satisfaction: Achieving section targets in retention, attendance, and student satisfaction.College Responsibilities: Adhering to college policies, promoting equality, and safeguarding students.Qualifications and Experience:

• A very good degree in the subject area • An excellent teaching track record with proven success in preparing students for external examinations

• A PGCE or equivalent formal teaching qualification is desirable

• Experience teaching internationally and/or working with international students is

desirable

• Experience as an examiner in their subject specialism is desirable
