We have a great opportunity to join our award-winning business and be part of a dynamic team as a Protective Service Officer Response team based out of North West of England.
Response Team's primary function is to carry out short term deployments to protect assets abroad. These deployments generally are of a duration of 2 - 4 nights dependent on client need and are often at short notice. The Response Team will also provide resilience predominantly at BAE Warton but additionally to BAE Systems locations across the UK when required. Working in line with the local Assignment Instructions and Customer Requirements the response team will be deployed to events, property and other assets when circumstances dictate.
About the RolePrimarily responsible for protection of our customers property and premisesTravelling by air to designated locations to provide asset protection servicesAdherence to site Assignment Instructions.Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.Responsible for any issued equipment provided by the customer and Securitas and to conduct routine equipment checks when required.To provide support, guidance and information to all internal and external stakeholders, whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all timesNotify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) in the event of any emergencies and follow the instructions given.Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and/or vandalised.When required operate customer's 'stop and search' policyCarry out initial investigations and report both verbally and in writing on incidents, suspicious activities, objects and vehicles.Display an outstanding level of customer service.Provide support for any challenges that internal and external stakeholders raise.Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the clientEssential SkillsMust hold a valid SIA LicenceBe willing to obtain Security ClearanceMust have the right to work in the UK.Must be over 18.Have a five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part-time education during that period.No current criminal convictions.A full UK driving licence (own transport is desirable).The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.Be punctual and reliable.Be willing and able to work shifts covering days, nights and weekends.Be sensitive towards and show and understanding of the requirements of people with disabilities or special needs.Maintain confidentialityBe available to travel and work away from home at short noticeWorking knowledge of Microsoft packages.Prior experience as a Security Officer in the Security industry is desirable.A First Aid qualification would be advantageous.Experience of working abroad with a variety of different cultures.BenefitsHealth & Wellbeing
