Property/Real estate Underwriter

Location: Leeds, Basildon or Worthing – (Hybrid)

Salary: Negotiable

We're strengthening our team at Camberford Underwriting and looking for a Property/Real EstateUnderwriter to join the team as we continue to grow.

You'll be underwriting profitable renewals on a day to day basis and assisting a brokers with the smooth running of existing policies.

The day to day:

Pro–actively managing renewals for a property/real estate book?Underwriting residential and commercial property/real estate risks within guidelinesLiaising with key stakeholders both internally and externallyEnsuring all documentations and systems are kept up to date and provided to supporting brokers in a timely mannerActively engaging with brokers to ensure Camberford are their first port of call on new business enquiriesEnsuring SLA's are met and timely issuance of documentation What's on offer:

Your experience:

Ideally you'll have 4–5 years' experience successfully underwriting a mixed property portfolio with exposure to both commercial and residential real estate/property owners risksA varied skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, analytical and IT skills.Previous experience within an MGA or commercial insurance underwriting role
