The company has a great reputation for the quality of service they provide.This role would be ideal for a person with around 2 years' experience managing their own portfolio of Blocks. The company prides its self on service, therefore they ensure the portfolio given to each manager will not stretch you beyond your limits. The role involves working on a portfolio of blocks to help coordinate repairs, maintenance, property inspections, and finances/budgets. you will be expected to deal with all areas of block management including Major Works (Section 20), Planned & Preventative maintenance and reporting, H&S and Fire risk training, Client/Board meetings, etc. We are looking for an experienced Property Manager or Block Manager: A proactive candidate A good communicator with lots of common sense, initiative, and customer service skills Must be well organised with attention to detail and excellent English speaking and writing MUST DRIVE WITH OWN CAR, please do not apply unless you have already passed your driving test and have your own car as this is essential for the role Have experience working as an Block Manager Experience in using Microsoft packages, including Word & ExcelIn return our client is offering the successful Property Manager or Block Manager: Starting Salary of GBP30,000–GBP40,000p.a.(depending on experience) reviewed annually 31 days holiday (23 days plus 8 bank holidays) Company pension scheme Support and mentoring from Senior staff in a collaborative environment Hybrid working (work from home days) once you are fully trained Working hours 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday Professional working environment in a relaxed, friendly, and close–knit team IRPM/ ARMA development will be offered by the company to ensure the employee has a strong understanding of the surrounding legislative and contractual influences when managing propertySome key responsibilities of the Property Manager or Block Manager include: Liaising with lessees, residents, contractors, and others as required by phone and email Obtaining quotations for repairs, maintenance, and on–going contracts Instructing appropriate contractors, working within the Landlord & Tenant Act, following company procedures, and complying with relevant H&S legislation Gaining an understanding of our software to process issues, maintenance, and monitoring in a timely manner
