Project Surveyor (Compliance)

Salary: 35,000 per annum

Length: 3 months with a view to go permanent

Location: Cornwall

Our client, a housing association in Cornwall, is seeking a qualified Project Surveyor to enhance their compliance team's capabilities. This role is instrumental in ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage projects in fire safety, legionella, lifts, asbestos, and radon. Administer contracts, inspections, and financial transactions with precision. Lead fire door inspections and coordinate remedial repairs. Develop and manage planned works programs within allocated budgets. Engage with customers to address safety concerns and uphold standards. Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 ONC/HNC in construction or a related discipline. Readiness to pursue certifications such as Asbestos Management, Legionella Responsible Person, and Lift Safety. Demonstrated proficiency in contractor management and budget forecasting. Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Safety Services Manager and involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and external entities, including customers, local authorities, and contractors.
