We are currently seeking passionate Project Sales Executive to join our client's expanding team. You role will be to generate a flow of quality enquiries into the business, predominantly within the Manufacturing & Warehousing sector. This will include identifying key target projects and contacts, identifying key target contractors and contacts, and making contact with and building rapport with these contacts to generate opportunities into the business up to a Prospect stage of the pipeline.
The role will be based at the company Head Office in Stafford UK, but will involve regular (typically 2-3x per month) travel within the UK and Ireland to visit prospective clients
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Generation
Utilize a variety of lead generation techniques such as calling, Linkedin messaging, F2F meetings, email marketing, social media, and networking to generate prospect stage opportunities within target criteria for new and existing accounts and projects Build strategic relationships with high potential contacts to identify and generate leads Hold effective discovery conversations with potential clients to identify pains that we can provide solutions for and generate leads Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads Nurture and develop Suspect leads through regular follow-up Use CRM to track lead interactions and update lead status Recording
Recording of all client interactions on the company CRM system Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business goals Work closely with Sales Lead Researchers to ensure alignment with leads identified and business needs Provide feedback and insights to improve lead generation strategies and campaigns Reporting:
Generate regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and the effectiveness of different lead sources Analyse data to make data-driven decisions and optimize lead generation strategies Requirements
Proven track record of successful business development in a B2B environment An understanding of how large and complex client organisations function Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
