Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage projects from conception to completion. This is an exciting role where you will and the team will regularly report into the board of directors and you will be the person preparing and delivering these updates.
You will ensure the appropriate project governance is followed to manage multiple company wide projects. This exciting role covers a broad range of projects including IT and new customer implementations. You will work autonomously to support all project activities so experience in project management is a must.
Tasks:
Take ownership for all assigned projectsDevelop and maintain project charters, plans, action/decision logs, risk registers and other relevant project management documentsSupport other project managers in management and oversight of the PMO for all UK & I significant projectsPrepare update reports for board of directors regular briefingsOrganise and chair meetings, both internal and external, both web based and face to face, preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes as appropriateOrganise and facilitate workshopsAlong with Project Leads, assign actions to project team members as required to achieve project objectives, regularly reviewing and updating progressEnsures systems, processes and procedures are in place and followed to allow for the appropriate management of PMO projectsBuild and maintain a positive working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and at different levelsManage third party suppliers and consultancies with project related activityUtilise project management products to ensure project time, quality and resource parameters are tracked and updated. Management products include but are not limited to:o MS Project
o Risk register
o Action/Decision Log
o Project Charter

Essential that you have strong project management skills - tracking of plans, flash reports, MS Projects, RAID etcEssential that you also have experience of delivering IT implementations and related projectsMS Office, MS Teams, MS Project skillsMust be highly organised, exercise good time managementAbility to build and maintain a positive working relationship withStakeholders across multiple functions and at different levels.The ability to communicate fluently - written and verbal, at varying levels of seniority and remain confident engaging at various levels in a style that ensures a clear insight for stakeholders regarding project progress and goalsCustomer focused and confident in working with customers to ensure their activity is delivered to planKnowledge of IT project lifecycleSelf-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude, happy to work unsupervised and highly autonomousExperience Essential DesirableDelivering IT implementations and related projects
