Project Manager Required
We are looking for a new Manager that will oversee the daily management, administration, and development of Broughton After School Club a 60-a-day childcare setting in Edinburgh. Your key criteria’s will be to lead a team of staff, with the support of a Deputy Manager, in providing, and developing play opportunities and activities for primary school aged children. We are open after school hours (until 6pm), and cover over school holiday, and in-service days (8:15am-6pm). We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and have good management and communication skills as well as experience of working with children.
Essential Requirements for the Position would be:
BA Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 9), Professional Development Award (PDA) Childhood Practice Level 9 or an equivalent Level 9 Childcare qualification listed by Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or be working towards one of these. Knowledge and understanding of the SSSC and the Care Inspectorate regulatory requirements. An ability to devise creative and stimulating activities for a range of age groups and have a commitment to children’s play. PVG scheme membership and registration with the SSSC.
Hours: 11am-6pm during term time and additional hours during school holidays
Pay: £18-20.50 per hour depending on experience
