Project Business Manager
Salary: Competitive per annum plus performance bonus, company car/car cash allowance, medical cover and pension
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Location: Central Region (Midlands) with travel required

What you'll be doing;
Accountable for providing specialised project support to the Commercial business.
Provide support at Area Manager level and take on management responsibilities for variable periods across the UK Commercial business.
Provide continuity to new and existing business units, whilst accelerating change, where required.
Build the identity of the team you are supporting, maximising competitiveness, value and efficiency in all aspects of its design, development and implementation.
Transform ways of working, processes and the culture of the team to ensure optimum growth and success with an engaged workforce.
Responsible for the due diligence and integration of acquisitions, ensuring the acquired business effectively integrates within Veolia, evolving the operating standards and procedures.
Accountable for effectively leading teams whilst on projects, delivering on all aspects of the Commercial strategy in a safe and legally compliant manner, to maximise profitability, achieve operational excellence, deliver first class customer service and drive our business purpose.
Define and establish effective working relationships across wider functions such as Fleet, Customer Services, Sales, Risk and assurance, HR and Finance.
Ensuring that clear and efficient cross function operational processes are defined, driving accountability and compliance with them.
Support the Commercial Strategy Manager in rolling out of National Projects under our sustainability, efficiency and growth priorities.
Leading integration of strategic acquisitions and major construction projects of new depots and infrastructure as well as offering support in the absence of Business Managers when required across the Midlands and East territory.
Analysis and understanding of customers' data to drive decisions designed to improve customer excellence.
Achievement of the Commercial customer success measures - First time collection rate, Recovery collections, Bin delivery, Proactive communication, Invoice accuracy and call handling performance.
Liaise with experts and across the business to design and implement technical solutions.
Production and delivery of regional budget projects and forecast expectations.
What we're looking for;
IOSH Managing Safely
Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.
Experience of leading & managing Commercial Waste businesses.
Seasoned leader with demonstrable track-record of leading high-performance.
Experience of leading and driving transformation and change.
Strategic thinker who is solution focused and creative, with the ability to implement strategy and embed into a business.
Ability to build relationships and influence at mid to senior leadership level.
Experience of leading and influencing across a matrixed environment.
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise among competing priorities.
